Open Question: rules for becoming a parent! when i run for office one day this will be my only platform?

Tue, 06 Nov 2007 01:12:47 GMT
i think these rules are simple and to the point and dont make (huge) value judgements

1) you must be atleast 25 - i am sure that there are some stellar 22 year old out there but no - 25 is the minimum

2) you must have a minimum of a high school education. if you got a GED you have to wait an additional five years.

3) you must be able to demonstrate that you have paid all of your own adult bills from legal income source(s) (household, car, cell phone etc) for a period of no less than 24 month with no gaps.

4) you must have lived atleast 200 miles away from your parents for no less than 24 months with no gaps ~ preferably out of state.

as a society we have got to do something about all these people having children as "accesories".

kids who arent raised by adults who are conscious of the life long responsiblity involved in bringing a life into this world just grow up.

i wont even bother to share the story that put me on this rant! its too sad.

Open Question: Are there any girls here at all?

Tue, 06 Nov 2007 02:42:57 GMT
Are there any girls here at all that actually follow baseball, know baseball, and like baseball for the great sport it is, and not just because there are a bunch of cute guys?
I think all girls who just like it for the cute guys just give the rest of us a bad name.
Actually, I'm 16 too! Sadly I can't say I've followed it for that long. I don't even think I knew about MLB at that age. Probably because my family really doesn't follow baseball. I didn't get into it until a few years ago but I've enjoyed every year since!
I'm glad to see more girls who are true baseball fans. :)

Open Question: What would you do if you caught someone in the act of stealing a poppy box?

I just heard about such incidents on the evening news here in Calgary.
